Social Stories
Social Stories were designed by Carol Gray. These stories are helpful for explaining situations that could be a challenge for the individual. A few examples could be about social skills, understanding a fear, or how to deal with a specific situation. The story contains facts about the situation, feelings of others or self, may explain a process, or may offer suggestions to better the situation. Each story would be individualized to the needs of the
person and the desired outcome.
