Picture Me Talking utilizes the Mayer-Johnson Boardmaker (T) program to design communication aids, adaptive books, scheduling and daily routine materials. This specialized program is available in 44 different languages.
This specialized visual based program has proven to be successful with people who need visual prompts to help guide them into being more independent and better prepared for everyday life.
Mary Swanson has worked with a "special needs population" for the past 8 years focusing on working with youth in both an educational and a community based program.
Her experience with the Mayer-Johnson Boardmaker (T) program and her educational background serving as a Paraprofessional in a specialized classroom has inspired her to help young people to be successful in their daily lives.
She uses her special talents to personally create teaching and support materials to meet the needs of her individual clients.
