Adaptive Book Inserts
Adaptive Book Inserts are products designed to enable a listener to share in the story by matching a Boardmaker(TM) picture to the page and thus learn to recognize the item. The inserts available are designed to help the reader become familiar with colors, animals, numbers, alphabet letters, household items, planets and space, days of the week, fruits, months, and opposites. By seeing the item's picture, hearing the spoken word and seeing the written word the listener has the opportunity to connect all these areas with the page of the story.
Each adaptive book insert was hand-designed to match the pages of the story as closely as possible. This makes it easier for the listener to match the Boardmaker(TM) pictures to the story pages.
Some book inserts teach more than one area and these are described behind the authors name (colors, animals).
Each adaptive book insert is laminated, comes with instructions on how to apply them, and the adhesive hook and loop dots needed to attach the Boardmaker(TM) pictures to the book.
NOTE: Books are not included with the adaptive book insert and must be purchased by the buyer. The books are available at many stores, and at Barnes & Noble. Most of these books are available in board books and this allows the listener to attach the Boardmaker(TM) picture right on the page.
